My box

A couple of days ago me and my friend, we went on a journey into the past by delving into a box with our high school correspondence and other stuff. It was a blast! Haha, we couldn't stop laughing. We've been friends since high school and we keep reminiscing the time spent together. The best part is that we have tangible proof how it really was back then. Each of us has a box full of all the things we wrote to each other, photos, sheets of paper, napkins, tickets, etc. Gosh, it was really great to be able to see all that again.
And then it got me thinking that today teenagers don't have that. They won't have their own boxes full of the stuff. All they write (and I'm sure they still write just as we used to) is done on their cell phones. New technologies aren't conducive to creating boxes obviously, sigh. And I'm telling ya, it's great to be able to look back and remind yourself your first friendships and crushes, the olden dilemmas and teenage problems... It's a gas, believe me ;)
